JEFF WREN, Vice President of Biotherapies for the Association for the Advancement of Blood & Biotherapies (AABB), leads the development and delivery of AABB’s biotherapies portfolio in support of its members and stakeholders. Wren has extensive experience building successful cell therapy services programs that have advanced the biotherapies industry and increased both the supply and safety of transformative therapies.
Wren’s prior experience includes more than a decade with NMDP/Be The Match, where he served as Director of Product Development and Innovation and established multiple programs for Be The Match and Be The Match Biotherapies, which reduced barriers to receiving life-saving treatments for patients. He also spent four years at the Blood Research Institute, researching new ways to improve diagnostic tools for patients with bleeding disorders such as von Willebrand disease.
Wren holds a Master of Business Administration with a specialization in Medical Industry Leadership from the University of Minnesota and a Bachelor of Science in Biology and History from the University of Wisconsin–Madison. He feels very fortunate to be part of an industry that has such a direct impact on the lives of patients and their families.
