Join us for a forward-looking session showcasing innovative approaches and platform technologies that are poised to transform the future of biotherapies. This program features recent work by AABB Foundation Scholars who were awarded funding through theFoundation’s Early-Career Scientific Research Grants Program. Their projects—selected through a highly competitive review process—explore novel tools to optimize cellular
therapies and trauma resuscitation strategies.

An AABB Foundation Hall of Fame member will open the session with a presentation on the current state and future direction of translational technologies in biotherapies. Following this, two early-career investigators will share their funded research:

• A novel microfluidic platform to isolate senescence-free stem cells for cellular
therapy (Panagiotis Mistriotis)
• A dynamic, stochastic in silico model for optimizing trauma resuscitation and
transfusion strategies (Jansen Seheult)

These presentations demonstrate the power of interdisciplinary innovation in addressing persistent challenges in regenerative medicine and patient blood management. A moderated Q&A will follow to engage the audience in exploring the broader implications of these new tools and models.
